Green Drink



Lots of raving about green drinks everywhere, but I'm usually not impressed. Surprised? This is an adaptation of a recipe from a friend that works for my family. My littlest one absolutely hates it with spirulina, but does fine with the plain one. The rest of us enjoy it more as well, but (as many other people feel) there's something redeeming about drinking something that green! Whatever the case, try this filling recipe and let me know what you think.

Green Drink
2 cups Kale
1 medium Apple, fuji
2 bananas, frozen
1 tablespoon apple juice concentrate
1 tablespoon spirulina powder, optional
2 cups water and/or ice

Blend all until smooth and enjoy cold.
